Currently I'm an assistant professor in Ain Shams University, Cairo , Egypt specialized in plant molecular genetics My interest is doing innovative experiment to improve the yield and growth of crop plants using untraditional ways, I'm also interested in understanding the phylogenetic between interesting crop plants in order to identify new trait specific molecular markers again to improve the plant criteria. In addition, Im interested in exploring new physical and chemical methodologies to help in biological analysis. I'm teaching several courses for graduates and undergrads such as plant genetic engineering, new techniques in molecular biology, microbial genetics, cell biology and bioinformatics. I got my PhD from Illinois state Univeresity, USA in plant molecular genetics where I identified via gene mapping two genes in Arabidopsis responsible for the regulation of cell expansion and division.
