Prof. Dr. Said Fatouh Hamed, Position: Since March 2013 Professor at Fats and Oils Department, Food Industries and Nutrition Division, National Research Centre (NRC), Egypt. He has joined NRC in 1987 after graduation from Biochemistry/Chemistry Dept., Faculty of Science, Ain-Shams University at 1982. He acquired Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Chemistry of Fats and Oils, Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University, 2000 (through a mission for 2 years 7/6/ 1997– 30/8/1999 To Institute of Food Science, Hanover, Germany). His spot of research interest is Chemistry and Technology of Fats , Oils and Antioxidants and their application in emulsions and nano-emulsions. He published more than 26 research papers in high impact value's international journal s in the same field. He, also, supervised one Msc and two PhD thesis in Ain-Shams and Al-Azhar Universities. Dr. Said gave many training courses (e.g. Gas Liquid Chromatography, High Performance Liquid Chromatography, Good Laboratory Practice,...etc.) for students in Food and Nutrition field. He is a member of The Board of Directors of Egyptian Sciety of Chemistry and a member of Food Industries Society as well as many others. He shared in organizing Two International Conferences in Chemistry under the umbrella of Egyptian Chemical Society.
